Bluford Barton, a respected citizen and an old resident of Miller County, was taken sick at his home southeast of Brumley, on Tuesday morning of last week of apoplexy, and died in three-quarters of an hour. The deceased was one of Miller County's best citizens and leaves a family and large circle of friends to mourn his sudden death.

Son of Wade and Jane (Thompson) Barton who both died and are buried in Cuba, Graves County, Kentucky.
