Emily Soriano, Rachel Efird, Lindsey Griffin, Heather Postell, and Katherine Joyner;
and eight great-grandchildren
She is preceded in death by her husbands,

Step-son, James "Sonny" Joyner, Jr.
Betty was a lifelong resident of Midland. She was a founding member of Calvary Praise and Worship Center. Betty enjoyed cooking for others, especially baking. She worked in the textile industry.
The family wants to extend heartfelt thanks to Angie McGee and Kay Nelson for all their assistance in helping Betty over the last several years. Without them she would have not been able to stay in her home until the last two months of her life.
A graveside service will be held at Calvary Praise and Worship Center in Midland on August 27th at 10 a.m. A reception will follow at the fellowship hall at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to www.curesma.org. Betty's grandson died of SMA at four months of age.
