David C. Wilburn age 68 of Merrillville passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2009. He was a member of Southlake Worship Center in Hobart. David was retired from Bethlehem Steel 80 Inch Hot Strip Shipping Dept. He was preceded in death by his father, Herrick T. Wilburn. He is survived by: his loving wife, Leah Rae Wilburn of Merrillville; 2 sons, Rick (Karen) Wilburn of Rockford, Michigan, Greg (Kathy) Wilburn of Chesterton; 5 grandchildren, Andrew, Allison, Emily, Douglas and Samantha; mother, Charlene Wilburn of Kennett, MO; 2 sisters, Beth (Phil) Kindle of Granite City, IL Dianne Killion of Point Pleasant, NJ; sister-in-law, Maggie (Roy) Miller of FL; brother-in-law, Tom Rosenbalm of FL; many nieces and nephews; and special friends Tom (Cheri) Randall. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 3:30 PM at Geisen Funeral Home 7905 Broadway Merrillville, IN with Pastor Samuel M. Abbott officiating.
