Ronald was born on July 22, 1940, the son of the late Oscar and Virginia (Wessell) Cook. He was united in marriage to his loving wife Antoinette Christine DeManaco on April 27, 1963 in St. Paul Lutheran Church of St. Clair Shores. The couple first lived in Grosse Pointe Farms, moving to St. Clair Shores and then to Clinton Twp. in 1966. Ronald was employed first as a lineman, promoted to Forman and finally to Supervisor in rear analysis for Ford Motors for over Thirty years, retiring in 1999. He was a past member of the F.O.P. Selfridge for many years. Ron loved the game of Golf, enjoyed bowling, hockey, cards (especially Euchre), Hunting at the property up north. During his high school years he was involved with the ROTC as a gun expert. He was a loving family man who deeply enjoyed his children and grandchildren. Ron will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his loving son Donald.
Visitation will be held at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Rd., Fraser, Tuesday from 2pm till 8pm and Wednesday from 10am till time of funeral services at 11am. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
