Nancy Penny Eason, age 72, of Selma, died on Sunday, July 24, 2011. Born in Wake County on July 14, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Reuben and Carrie Lee Stanley Penny. Mrs. Eason was the widow of Needham Eason, Jr.. She was a member of the Princeton Church of God and the Young At Heart Senior Group at the church. She loved spending time with her friends at Health Quest and socializing at Wendy's.Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 7:00 PM at the Princeton Church of God with Rev. Bill Braswell and Rev. Ramon Mizell officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 6 to 7, just prior to the service. Entombment will be Wednesday at 11 AM in Selma Memorial Gardens.Surviving are her son, Eddie Eason and wife Tammy of Selma; daughters, Debbie Hamilton and husband Steve of Greenville, Wanda Eason of Nashville, Lynn Hedman and husband Rick of Princeton; brothers, Larry Penny of Smithfield, J. R. Penny and Earl Penny, both of Henderson; sisters, Jerry Lovings of Franklinton and Geral Pergerson of Henderson; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
