Our Handsome cowboy has gone home to be with Jesus and the Love of his life. Papa Juan passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022. God took him peacefully. Papa Juan was loved by so many!

Those in the community knew him well and watched him cruise the streets of Crane in his 1969 yellow El Camino. Papa Juan's special saying was "You better believe it!"

In his early years, Juan was a rancher until a horse fell on him and broke his back. After, he was able to become a truck driver.

Juan was preceded in death his wife, Natalia Sandoval, grandson Jeffery Sandoval, brothers, Jesus Sandoval, Paul Sandoval, and Joe Sandoval. Sisters, Chrispina Castania, Chavela Diaz, and his parents, Mr. George and Mrs. Epifania Sandoval.

He is survived by his children, Janie Prieto and husband Robert, Chris Payan and husband Sammy, and Russell Sandoval and wife Terri.
