Lillie C. [Caroline] Owens, 82, of Pine Island Road, died Friday, Oct. 17, 1997, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. She was born in Columbus County, N.C., a daughter of the late Major and Mary Frances Duncan McLamb. Mrs. Owens moved to Myrtle Beach in 1939 and managed several restaurants in the area. Survivors include a daughter, Thedis Trundy of North Myrtle Beach; a son, Van Owens of Conway; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 tonight at McMillan-Small Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Withers Memorial Cemetery.
