Leslie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was known for her strong faith and reliance on prayer. She enjoyed interior decorating and made her home and others' beautiful and warm, especially during the holidays. She loved arts and crafts and taught children's art lessons for which she was beloved by her students. Her greatest desire in life was to be a mother and raise good children, which she did. Despite struggles with mental illness, she held onto hope and tried to spread joy. She received support from her friends and family during her life, and tender care during her last months as her health declined. After a series of strokes, she spent her final days in a peaceful, loving environment in the home of her sister, Lisa. Her close family and friends were able to gather at her bedside and express their love and cherished memories of her prior to her passing. She died surrounded by family.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Premier Funeral Services, 67 E. 8000 S., Midvale. Her Life Celebration service will be on Wednesday, October 20 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 880 N. 700 E., Lehi.
