She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 57 years, John William Duncan; son, Lloyd Winston Duncan; and sister, Bonnie Shubert. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Rev. Tony Kemp of Clarkesville; son, Phillip Duncan of Black Mountain, NC: son and daughter-in-law, David and Nancy Duncan of Flowery Branch; five grandchildren and their spouses; and twelve great-grandchildren.
