Bob entered into the Air Force on April 13, 1960 and was stationed at Lowry Air Force Base in Colorado. He left the Air Force in 1964 just before the Vietnam War broke out.

Bob married the love of his life Donetta Lynn Harper on May 29, 1961 in Denver, CO.

They happily built a life together in Colorado and became parents to three beautiful daughters! It was their love of travel that provided a life time of wonderful memories and traditions. This same passion was passed down to their children.

Bob also had a passion and gift as an amazing gardener. He truly could transform a barren yard into a paradise that offered an array of colorful flowers, bushes, trees, fruits and vegetables. We cannot leave out the many animal statuettes of all sizes and kinds.

It was also Bob's faith that he shared with his wife that kept them busy sharing the Bible's messages of hope with everyone they met until their last moments.

As a 'Father' he worked very hard to provide for his family and as a 'Dad' he would play with his daughters at the end of a long day. His dedication to his family will remain forever in their hearts.

Life dealt him some extremely beyond cruel detours along the way but he endured, persevered and stayed committed to his family and his faith. He had the greatest sense of humor and had the ability to make you laugh until you cried.

Bob is survived by his three daughters, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two sisters, and a brother.

He is preceded in death by both parents and his wife, Donetta.
