BURGESS, Virginia Lee, 93, of Tampa, Florida went to be with the Lord on August 13, 2022 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Virginia was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a Southern Baptist and very passionate about her church activities. During her lifetime she served as children's and women's Sunday school teacher and teacher and principle of Vacation Bible Schools and served on various committees.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Glenn Burgess and son, Steven Glenn Burgess. Visitation will take place at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories , 4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa, Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 10 am. A graveside service will be held at Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 11 am at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
