In 1850 Federal Census, he and family are living in Buncombe Co, NC, as farmers. He and family relocated to to MountainTown, GA, prior to 1860 Federal Census, where they are still farming. He was a founding member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church, MountainTown, GA. He appears on the Military District 958 reorganization, submitted in December, 1863. Death after that date.
