Phyllis A. McCane Gregory, age 88, formerly of Bracken County, Kentucky, died Thursday, August 11, 2022, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Gregory, who died on April 27, 2008. She was born on December 17, 1933, in Bracken County to the late Garner and Rosa Alberta Sharp McCane. She was a homemaker.

She leaves behind: two sons, Michael Gregory (Marie) and Scott Gregory (Deborah); a sister, L. June Chenault; three grandchildren, Tanner Gregory, Evan Gregory (Mollie) and Emma Long (Josh); three nieces, Carolyn Gossage (Keith), Pam Reilly and Rhonda Hall; two nephews, Tom Sims and Jeff Chenault; and a special cousin, Billy Sharp.

Graveside rites will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, at Johnsville Cemetery, in Bracken County. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Metcalfe-Hennessey Funeral Home, in Augusta. Memorials are suggested to Queen City Hospice, 4605 Duke Drive, Mason, Ohio 45040.
