On July 5, 2022, Daniel passed away in the comfort of the home he lived in for over 46 years, surrounded by his family. Daniel was born in 1949 to Victoria and Carlos Gonzalez. He is survived by his son Esteban, and two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Also surviving is his older brother Fernando, along with many nephews and nieces.
Daniel was a devoted family man. He enjoyed being with his family and traveling. His was a big supporter of his grandchildren and enjoyed watching all their recitals and sporting events.
Daniel loved music, dancing, reading, walking and cooking for his family. Daniel worked for the City of San Diego for many years holding many different positions. He also dedicated many years to volunteering for many associations.
We have so many found memories that fill our hearts with love and gratitude, and we will miss him dearly.
Funeral services scheduled for Monday, August 15, 2022, at 1:00pm at the Mission Basilica San Diego de Alcala.
