Susan Marie Bowling was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven August 10, 2022. Susan was a beautiful woman, loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, friend, and Nana. Susan was born on December 18, 1959 in Madison, Indiana, the daughter of Daw and Lucy White. Susan was the sister of Daw Jr (DJ) and Dale White. Being the baby of the family, and only girl, she was very spoiled by her brothers and loved every second of it. Susan would beam with pride at the mention of her brothers. On May 10, 1986 Susan married the love of her life, Gregory Bowling. They shared 36 wonderful years together. Susan and Greg were the epitome of true love and dedication in marriage. When she married Greg, she gained a loving husband and a whole new family that welcomed her with loving arms. The extended Bowling family was always very close and Susan enjoyed spending holidays, many Sunday afternoons, and annual beach vacations with them. Susan was a loving mother and dedicated her life to her children, Kayla and Wesley. It was clear that family was everything to her. Susan embraced her titles of mom and second mother to many over the years, always providing a welcoming and safe home full of fun and laughter. Her favorite and most recent title was being "Nana" to three precious little boys who adored her. She loved and cherished her grandsons Dawson, Hudson, and Rhett. To her, the world revolved around her three boys. She was always on their side and was the first to speak up for them. Her boys knew just how much their Nana loved them. Susan had many great friendships over the years and cherished and loved every single one. She considered lifelong friends Cheri Potter and Teresa Jewell her sisters. Susan is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Daw (DJ) White, and her mother-in-law, Veronica Bowling.
