Aaron Steve Daniel Gay, 87, of Macon, GA, passed away suddenly Saturday, July 30, 2022. He has gone home to be with the Lord and his love of his life. A memorial service (was) held at 4:00pm Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Sardis Heard Funeral Home. The family will greet friends following the service. The eldest son of the late William Allen and Isla Theo Hutchinson Gay, Aaron was born in Nocatee, Florida. He married Shirley Jane Culver of Arcadia, Florida, January 24, 1959. They were married until her death in July 2008. He was a devout Christian and loved the Lord. He never met anyone he didn't know, and if he didn't know you, he did when he left you. Aaron always quoted John 3:16 to everyone before he left. Aaron would like to inform you that he is no longer above snakes. If you knew him, you know he would tell you that any day he was above the snakes was a good day. Aaron was retired from Wells Fargo, having worked as a messenger guard and coin room operator.
