Rosa Rannels Fitch, age 67, passed away October 31, 2021. She worked as a Flight Attendant for 35 years, 33 with United Airlines where she was able to travel the world for both work and pleasure. She traveled to magnificent places and one of her most memorable trips was to hike the Inca Trail in Machu Picchu. She loved nothing more than skiing, and was able to fulfill her dream of skiing the Alps with her ski club. She was an avid gardener who knew almost everything about plants, landscape design and flowers. She enjoyed spending time with neighbors and friends from Welcome Club, Snowdrifters Ski Club, her bowling group, book club, mahjong group and her movie group but she treasured spending time with her daughters and six grandchildren the most.

She is survived by her two beloved daughters, Angelique Cullen-Ketzback (Thor Ketzback) of Evanston, IL and Breana Cullen (Robert Spelich) of Geneva, IL and 6 grandchildren who she absolutely adored, Elizabeth, Paige, Cullen and Hattie Ketzback and Lincoln and Harper Spelich. She is preceded in death by her mother Martha Ann (Blackmon) and Darwin Wolf Rannels as well as a sister and infant brother. She is survived by one older sister, Martha Ann Wieber (John Kenny Wieber) of New Canaan, CT. Her devoted husband and the love of her life, Denny Fitch, preceded her in death in May of 2012 and they are now reunited in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Memorial Service to celebrate Rosa's life is on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 11am-12pm at First United Methodist Church of Evanston, 516 Church St., Evanston, IL.
