John Meneese Williams was born on February 28, 1893 in Tennessee, the son of William Harrison Williams (1866–1934) and his 1st wife Annie Binkley (Herbert) Williams (1867–1906).
He was married 1st in 1915 to Julia Rebecca Little (1896–1940). He was married 2nd in 1946 as the 2nd husband of Mamie (Edmonds) Schmittou (1904–1984).
A farmer and dairyman living on Edmondson Pike off Route 4 out of Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee, John was 71 years old, married and had bronchial asthma when he died at home of arteriosclerosis on May 16, 1964s. Burial was two days later in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Nashville.
