Lee E. Brown
Lee E. Brown, 82 of Ritenour Road, new Madison, died Saturday, Aug 15, at Wayne Hospital in Greenville following a short illness.
He was born Nov. 3, 1909, in Verona, the son of Norman and Candace (Michael) Brown. He had worked 41 years for the Kroger Co. and was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Hazel (Campbell Brown; one daughter, Joyce Noggle of Indianapolis, Ind; three sons, Gary L Brown and Cary Brown, both of New Madison, and Gale Brown of New Paris; one brother, Glen Brown of Lewisburg; 20 grandchildren and six stepgreatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Nancy; one brother, Walter, and three sisters, Gladys, Florence and Ruth.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, at Bussard-Barnes-Vaniman Funeral Home, Eldorado, with the Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg.
