Grant Paul Clark, 76 of Barton passed away on August 9, 2022.

Born June 19, 1946, he was the son of the late Thomas and Verna (Lambert) Clark. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Rita Clark; and his siblings, Dale Clark, Ellsworth Clark, Tim Clark, Richard Clark, Marie Bond and Amy Black.

Paul was Baptist by faith, he held a strong relationship with God. He was a dedicated foster parent for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and would do anything for them. In any time of need, Paul was always there to lovingly guide his loved ones.

Paul was a proud United States Army Veteran. He loved his country and was very patriotic. He retired from working as a mechanic at the Allegany County Roads Department. His favorite pastimes include mechanic work and running heavy equipment.

Paul is survived by his children, Paul Clark and wife Diane of Barton, Sherry Bothwell and husband Tom of Barton, Wayne Clark of Barton, Tammy Whetstone and husband, Michael, Sr. of Westernport, Sierra Clark of Barton and Santos Clark of Barton. He is also survived by his siblings, Victor Clark, Sr. and wife Donna of Barton, Edwin Clark and wife Margaret of Barton, Darlene Crawford of Hagerstown, and Elaine Bailey and husband Bob of Barton. Paul is survived by his grandchildren, Kristi Cortez, Jennifer Hart, Kaitlyn Raines, Alex Bothwell, Kyleigh Bothwell, Kassidy Bothwell, Kari Clark, Luke Clark and Hunter Shockey; several great grandchildren; and a special brother-in-law and friend, Ralph Miller.

Family and friends will be received at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton on Sunday, August 14th from 1 to 4 p.m. A funeral service will take place following the visitation at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor David Cowan officiating.

Interment at Mt. View Cemetery will take place at a later time.
