Joyce Ann Cross, was a head strong and loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. She said goodbye to this world as she took her last breath on August 2, 2022 at the tender age of 75. Joyce Ann, as she was called, loved life and her family. She attended Booker T. Washington High School. Her love of cooking and taking care of people extended past just her family. Joyce Ann housed, and feed many that were in need, and continued to practice her gift of giving until the very end. It is so hard to say goodbye to such an awesome women.

Joyce Ann has joined in heaven her mother and father, Odell and Moses Haskins; the love of her life, Albert Williams; brother, Leon Morris; sisters, Jacqueline Woodbury and Celestine Haskins; grandson, Anthony Sanderlin, and nephew/son, Jermain Graham.

Joyce is survived by her daughter Pamela Cross, and niece/daughter Ciera Haskins of Norfolk VA. Two sons Anthony Cross and Albert cross (Evelyn) of Norfolk, Va. Step Children, Anthony Reynolds (Debra) of Norfolk VA, Carttillias Downing of Norfolk VA, and Alvida Williams of Baltimore, MD. Sisters Adell Edmonds (Michael) of Norfolk, VA, and Bernadette Murrell of Chesapeake, VA. Brothers Mosses Morris (Doris), Ronald Hoskins (Gloria), of Norfolk, VA. Joe Hoskins (Monique) of Memphis TN, Ricky Hoskins of Chesapeake, VA. Melvin Woodbury of Norfolk VA, and Cornelius Fields (Virginia) of Virginia Beach VA. Grandchildren, Renee Sanderlin-Gelzer (Dwayne) of Elizabeth City NC, Dontae Sanderlin (Camille) of Woodbridge VA, Alicia Cross of Norfolk VA, Allyson Cross (Caneesha) of Newport VA, Albert Cross Jr, and Alexis Cross of Norfolk VA. Joyce Ann has touched a whole host of people and her love for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends will never say goodbye.
