Fernando "Fred" Garcia, Jr., age 87 of Victoria passed away Friday, August 5, 2022. He was born September 8, 1934, in Gonzales to the late Rev. Fernando Garcia and Carlota Ibarra-Garcia.
He is survived by his wife Antonia "Tonie" Garcia of Victoria; daughters; Rosita Silvestri, Yolanda Garcia, Theresa Ordonez, and Linda Lerma; sons; Clemente Garcia and Hector Garcia; sister Lydia Sevier and brother Rev. Andres Garcia.
He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Jeannette Garcia, and son Ciro Garcia.
Visitation will begin Wednesday, August 10, 2022, from 5 – 8pm with a Rosary to begin at 6pm at Angel Lucy's Funeral Home in Victoria. Visitation will resume Thursday, August 11, 2022, at First Baptist Church, 301 N Glass St, Victoria, TX 77901 at 9am with a Prayer Service to begin at 10am. Burial to follow at Memorial Park with Full Military
Honors under the auspice of Victoria County Veterans Council AL, CWV, VFW, DAV, MCL, MOWW, EX-POW, MOPH, WS, KWV, VVA.
Pallbearers will be provided by VFW.
Under the direction of Angel Lucy's Funeral Home in Victoria, 361-575-3212.
