He was born December 4, 1946 in Fresno, CA, the son of William Henry and Irma Sue (Barnes) Bauer. He moved to Larned in 2009 from Albuquerque, New Mexico and was a farm hand and mechanic for many years.
He was of the 7th Day Adventist Faith and loved doing mechanic work. Michael enjoyed anything cowboy, collecting cowboy memorabilia and loved John Wayne. He was a quick draw artist and had a contest against Sammy Davis Jr.
Survivors include: two sons, Michael C. Walker, Larned, Robert Eugene Walker; daughter, Christina Nichole Walker, Globe, AZ; two brothers, William Henry Bauer, Nevada, Norman Bauer, Sacramento, CA; two sister, Daisy Martin-Stephens and Beverly Bauer, both of Sacramento, CA; three grandchildren, Cyler Michael Walker, Jasmine Ruth Regna and Robert Joseph Nock.
Cremation has taken place and no service is planned at this time.
