Vera Ann Harris, 83, formally of Naylor, Mo., passed away November 21, 2019, in the Mark Twain Nursing Facilities in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She was born August 11, 1936, in Ripley County, Missouri to the late Joe Muretich and Ann (Osojnicki) Muretich.

On June 5, 1954, in Ripley County, Missouri she was married to Billy Ralph Harris. He preceded her in death on November 21, 1998.

She is survived by: her children; Deborah Harris of Centerview, Missouri, Vicki Blackwell and husband Rob of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Steven Harris and wife Leslie of Naylor, Missouri. one sister; Ruthie Nesbit of Corning, Arkansas and one brother; Billy Muretich and Diane of Doniphan, Missouri and sister-in-laws Helen Harris of Temple Terrace, Florida and Betty Lou Muretich of Arnold, Missouri and Brother-in-law Loyd Harris Jr. of Cabot, Arkansas. She is also survivied by her grandchildren, Matt and (Robin) Hearring, John Hearring, Justin Garcia, Stephanie Garcia, Seth (Crystal) Blackwell, Clint Blackwell. Her great grandchildren; Bree Blackwell, Kinzie Buenaga, Charlotte Hearring, Christian Garcia, Ravyn and Kody Ficco, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents as well as her grandparents,Anton and Antonia Muretich and Frank and Cecelia Osojnicki as well as one brother Joe Muretich, Jr. and brother-in-law Fred L. Harris.

Vera had been a elementary teacher for Park Elementary in Corning, Arkansas, for 23 years, and she was life long resident of Ripley County. She attended St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Doniphan, Missouri. She enjoyed golfing,working on the cattle farm, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Visitation for Vera will be Sunday, November 24, 2019, starting at 12:00 p.m. in the Fowler and Sons Funeral Home of Neelvyille, Missouri, with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will be in the Naylor Memorial Cemetery, with Donny Emmons Officiating.

In Lieu of flowers, family request that memorials be made to, St. Judes Children's Hospital or the Alzheimer's Association.
