Shane Armond Thomas, 54, of Barnett, Missouri passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on March 08, 1968, in Grants Pass, Oregon, a son of the late Donald Lee Thomas and Virginia Lucille Thomson.
Shane attended Eldon High School.
He spent his career in the construction industry and specialized in painting and drywall for residential properties around the Eldon area. He was a dedicated, hard worker and truly enjoyed his work.
Shane was a lifelong fan of the Grateful Dead and Kansas City Chiefs.
He was an avid outdoorsman – he especially enjoyed float trips, camping, fishing, and cave exploring.
He was a collector of tools and loved cooking and grilling.
Most of all, Shane enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, who will miss him immensely.
He is survived by his daughters, Shawna Goldsberry (Stephen), and Markie Thomas; grandchildren, Noah, Shane, and Emily Thomas, and Mackenzie Goldsberry; brothers, Kevin Thomas, and Eric Thomas (Tina); sisters, Theresa Carroll (Dan Byrd), Jennifer Strange, and Janet Wiegand; his best friend, Lynn Groce; and Kenny Yinger and Lizzy Worthey, who he claimed as his own.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Virginia, and one brother, Mark Thomas.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Eastside Assembly of God in Eldon, Missouri.
