Joseph was the son of Joseph Lee and Lual Lee. He worked in several restaurants in New York, New Jersey and Georgia. He enjoyed poetry, photography and story writing. He had a love of Black History and had an extensive VHS collection of Malcolm X movies. He was a Devote Christian.
He was preceded in death by 1 brother, Malcom Lee.

2 Sons: Dwain Lee and Josiah Lee.
1 Sister: Cheryl Barrow.
1 Son: Edmund Lee.
4 Grandchildren: Mia Lee, Julia Lee, Micah Skyers and Joshua Skyers.
Graveside services were held Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 1PM in the Roselawn Garden of Memory Cemetery in Albany, Georgia.
