On August 13, 1911, "Blanche" (as she was known) married Felix Hardy Rutledge (1891-1941), son of Felix C. Rutledge and Mattie C. Preston, at Shiloh, near Trent, Jones County, Texas. She died on February 10, 1989 (aged 96) at Baytown, Harris County, Texas, and is buried at the Trent Garden of Memories Cemetery in Trent, Taylor County, Texas. Her children include: Velma Cleone Rutledge, Dorothy Jo Rutledge, James Donald Rutledge, and Alvis Weldon Rutledge
