THURMAN JERRY DAVIS, age 72 of Gadsden and formerly of Jemison, passed away suddenly on August 7, 2022 at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden, AL. He was born in Jefferson County on April 20, 1950; the son of the late Percy James Davis and the late Maggie Wyatt Davis.
He is preceded in death by: Parents, Percy and Maggie Davis; Sister, Ann McDonald; and Sister, Margaret Smith.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 5-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton, AL.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 11:00am from Liberty United Methodist Church in Moundville, AL with Rev. Kenny Davis officiating.
The body will be in state one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will follow in the Liberty United Methodist Cemetery in Hale County, AL.
