Charlene Lynn Sanders, 64, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Charlie, as she was known by her family and friends, was born in Coos Bay, Oregon on October 7, 1957, to Charles and Clara (Gale) Fairbanks. She spent her younger years in Oregon before moving to Battle Mountain, Nevada, and eventually to Arco, Idaho where she raised her family.

On February 16, 1973, she married David William Sanders in Battle Mountain, Nevada. They were blessed with two children; David and Kristi. When Charlie wasn't busy raising the kids she enjoyed, gardening, fishing, cooking, sewing, crocheting, covered bridges, and lighthouses.

Charlie worked for Butte County as a Deputy Treasurer for many years and met many wonderful people. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her children two David and Kristi; her four grandchildren; her sister, Cynthia West (Don) and a brother Tom Fairbanks (Debbie).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Sanders, by three sisters and one brother, and both her parents.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 7, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. at the Anderson Family Funeral Home, 2555 N. Highway 93, Arco, ID.
