Misty Dawn Lester, 47, of Dingess, WV, departed this life on August 5, 2022 at her residence.
She was born January 20, 1976 in Charleston, WV, the daughter of Fred Hartman of Chapmanville and the late Shelia Walden.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Kenneth & Mary Blankenship and Fred & Racine Hartman, two sisters, Dorothy Jones and Betty Wooten, one granddaughter, Riley Faith Hall, six angel grandbabies and her in-laws, Larry Lester and Betty Cline.
Misty enjoyed shopping, reading her bible, camping, and spending time with family and friends. She loved going to the beach and spending time with her fur baby Abbie Lester.
In addition to her father, those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Eric Lester of Dingess; three daughters, Erica (Nathan) Hall of Dingess, Holly Lester of Waynesburg, PA, and Jasmine Lester of Dingess; stepmother, Lori Hartman of Chapmanville; four sisters, Kristy Hartman of NC, Tiffany Hartman of NC, Tracy Hartman of VA and Phyllis Sizemore of Indiana; three brothers, Steven Walden of GA, Randy Walden of GA and Fred Hartman Jr of VA; five grandchildren, Colby Hall, Nathaniel Hall, Jazmine Marcum, Bryce Marcum and Gabe Marcum; six nieces and nephews, Tolson, Kendrink, Peyton, Kyleigh, Samantha and James; very special friends, Amy Compton, Kelly Moore, Candita Crabtree and Mary Simpkins; and two wonderful stepmothers, Karen Phillips and Kathy Commanders.
Services will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, August 12, 2022 at Mt. Hope Freewill Baptist Church, Dingess, WV with Darrell Newsome officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.
Visitation will be on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the church.
Pallbearers will be Nathaniel Hall, Franklin Hall, Shane Queen and other family and friends.
