Louis Edward Murray, 59, of Warm Springs, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022 at his home.

He was born March 10, 1963 in Manassas, a son of the late Clarence and Mary (Lane) Murray.

A mechanic by trade, Louis loved restoring old cars and trucks. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting and camping. He also enjoyed time spent digging ginseng and ramps with his Dad and brothers. Of all the jobs that he had, the one he loved the most was working on the farm for Sandy and Bill Bratton. He always had good stories to tell each evening after work.

Louis is survived by his companion of 27 years, Judy Ryder, and their loving dog, Katie. He is also survived by his brothers, Clarence Jr. and wife, Bonnie of Buckeye, WV, Roger of Frostburg, Md., Johnny and wife, Kathy of Covington and Curtis and wife, Gail of Marlinton, WV; sister, Charlotte Burguss and husband, Wayne of Patrick Springs; as well as number nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by an infant sister, Mary Janice Murray, as well as a niece Kaylin Murray.

Per his request, a graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, August 9, 2022, in Warm Springs Cemetery, with pastor Billy Robertson officiating.
