Lewis Randy Smith, 65, of Mesquite, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022.

Randy was born on April 1, 1956, in Eufaula, OK, to the late Sonny Smith and Essie Hopkins. He lived in Mesquite most of his life. Randy was of the Christian faith. He worked as a carpenter for many years. He loved karaoke, playing pool, dancing and going to concerts.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents; father that raised him, Murray Hopkins; brothers Danny Michael Smith and Tony Smith.

Randy is survived by his sons, Shaun Smith of Colorado and Corey Smith of Colorado; daughters Shanda Trees and Ryan of Frisco and Marci Trammell and Timothy of Forney; sisters, Debbie Shuford of Wills Point, Sherri Daniell and James of Dianna, TX and Terri Coleman and Roy of Forney, TX; grandchildren, Ariel, Alyssa, Kira, Xander and Lucy; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Services will be held April 9, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Hope Church in Sunnyvale. Online condolences may be made at mullinfullerfuneralhome.com.
