Bob passed away unexpectedly at home. He was 62 years old, born on January 11, 1960 in Elmira, NY.

He was predeceased by his parents, Helen (McCann) Dean and Robert C. Dean Sr., sister, Ellen (Dean) Friedrich.

Bob is survived by his wife Adella R. Dean of Rochester, NY; children, Joshua E. Dean (Tiffany M. Paul) of Elmira, NY; Officer Jeremy S. Dean (Samantha Chacoa) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandson, Joshua D. Dean; nieces Melissa Friedrich, Mallory Benjamin (Martin); nephews, Sean Friedrich (Valerie) and Noah Freeman all of Elmira, NY; great nieces and nephews, Carter and Spencer Trumball, Landon and Brayden Friedrich, Martin Benjamin III and Preslee Benjamin; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Bob worked at Toshiba from open to close then went on to work as a custodian at Parley Coburn School in the Elmira City School District for many years. He recently retired. Bob was an avid NASCAR fan, fisherman, & hunter. He loved golf, music as well as many other hobbies.

There will be no calling hours but all are welcome to attend services on August, 11th 2022 at 1pm at Woodlawn National Cemetery 1826 Davis Street Elmira, NY for a Military Honors.
