Barbara Anne Williamson

Funeral services for Barbara Anne Williamson, 75, of Greenville will be at 11 am, Thursday April 21st, 2022 at First Baptist Church Chapel, Greenville. Burial will be at Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Mortimer Funeral Home, Greenville.

She was the daughter of the late William Martin Williamson and of the late Ann Austin Williamson. Her father was a previous owner in the towboat business of Greenville. She earned her Art Degree from Delta State University and became a well noted artist of children's portraits, landscapes, and wildlife. Barbara participated in many art related events and belonged to the Art Council of Greenville. She loved her home, cats, and church most of all, serving many years as secretary for her Sunday school class.

Also, she was a faithful member who served on both flower and art committees.
She is survived by two brothers: William Hugh Williamson of Apopka, FL and Jeffrey Austin Williamson (Laura) of Lake Oswego, OR.

She is also survived by her beloved and devoted care givers: Becky Seib, Ethel Murray, Laconda Walker, Carolyn Brown, and Melinda Tyler.

Visitation will be from 10 - 11 am at First Baptist Church Chapel, Greenville.
Dr. Matt Alexander will officiate.
