Harriet Cartwright
Harriet Rae "Sam" Cartwright, nee Cartwright, 65, St. Clair, passed away Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006.
Mrs. Cartwright, the daughter of Harry Frank Cartwright and wife Norma Rae nee Nappier, was born Dec. 22, 1940, in St. Clair.
She attended the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Lonedell. She also drove a school bus for Autumn Hill State School No. 40 as well as the Union Public Schools.
Mrs. Cartwright was preceded in death by her father, Harry Frank Cartwright; grandparents, Roy Nappier and wife Mattie; one aunt, Ruth Nappier; one special niece, Cheryl Lynn Henry; and two treasured friends, Charles and Herbert Oermann.
She is survived by her mother, Norma Cartwright Phillips, nee Nappier, St. Clair; four sons, Robert Sibole Jr. and wife Barbara, Robertsville; Barry Sibole and wife Beatrice; Brad Sibole, Union, and Charles "Chad" Cartwright; St. Clair; two twin daughters, Suzette Monda-Whale and husband Paul, Springdale, Pa.; and Suzanne Highley and husband Damon, St. Clair; one brother, Daniel Robert "Boone" Phillips, Jr and wife Jonell, St. Clair, one sister, Barbara Craig and husband Dan, Houston, Texas; nine grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 21, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair with the Rev. Ben Kingston officiating.
Burial was in Midlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Union.
Memorials to Unity Health Hospice or the American Cancer Society are preferred.
The family was served by Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair.
