MARION - Linda Sue Coleman passed away on August 7, 2022, at MUSC in Florence following a brief illness. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2021 at Richardson Funeral Home. Burial at Reedy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery will be private.

Linda Sue Coleman was born in Marion on September 27, 1946 to the late Raleigh and Kate Smith. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Randy Coleman and sister, Judy Turner.

She was a 1964 graduate of Rains Centenary High School, a member of Reedy Creek Baptist Church, and a long-time employee of Mullins Nursing Center where she made many cherished friends. She also loved to travel to the beach, especially with her granddaughter, Atlanta Braves baseball, and NASCAR racing. She was very loved by many and will be deeply missed by everyone, who loved her.

Surviving are two children, Jay Coleman (Karen) of Marion and Hope Hayes (Charles) also of Marion; two sisters, Carol Anderson (Richard) and Jean Thompson; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
