Edith Stewart was born in Feuerthal, Germany, on September 13, 1933, during World War II to the late Luise and Gregor Schultheis. Edith grew up in Germany with her three siblings Siegfried, Arthur, and Melitta. Her favorite memories with her siblings were going to church and working in the field together. Over the years Edith knew God brought their family through the war safely. She could remember her brother playing any song and any instrument to get them through the tough times. Edith married the love of life, Neil Kelsey, on March 10, 1953, and together they had two sons, Donny and Bill. Later in life Edith married her second husband, Floyd Stewart and was married 33 years before his passing. Edith loved being a grandmother to her granddaughter, Melissa, who was the apple of her eye, and her great-grandchildren. She enjoyed going antiquing, square dancing, and playing dominoes. Edith was also a member of First Baptist Church of Henderson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Neil Kelsey; and second husband Floyd Stewart.
