JESSE RICHARD PRICE

Jesse Richard Price, employee at Riverton Lime and Stone Co., died unexpectedly Sunday at his home on Kerfoot Avenue.

He was born in 1889 at Blacksburg, Va., the son of Robert M. Price and Mrs. Margie Sibbol Price. Mr. Price had been a life long member of the Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie Keffer Price, Front Royal; five sons, Richard, Stockton and William Price, all of Front Royal. Kenneth and Ralph, of Roanoke. One daughter, Miss Ruby Price, Front Royal; two brothers, Alex Price, of Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. H. L. Hawkins, Blacksburg; and Mrs. Edgar Hawkins, Blacksburg. Five grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Maddox Chapel by the. Rev. Lawrence H. Roller, pastor of the Good Shepherd Lutheran. Interment was at Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Frank Bennett, Benny Rowe, Charles Stoneburner, Robert Wines, Harry Estep, and B. D. Cameron. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. William Lynn, William Rodeffer, Robert Ritenour, Harry Crewdson, Johnnie Young, and John Derflinger.
