Fritz Phipps. 75 of Drift, Ky. was born on April 18, 1947, in Pikeville, Ky. and passed away on Friday, Aug. 5, 2022 in the Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. Fritz was the son of Jack and Lucy Jane Cantrell Phipps who preceded him in death. He was a member of the Ferrells Creek Church of Christ and an office manager for H & R Block Company and a US Army Veteran. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter; Belinda Shelton. Survivors are a daughter Renea Tackett of Drift, Ky., a brother; Donnie Jack Phipps of Elkhorn City, a step-daughter; Olivia (James) Glazier of Cincinnati, Ohio, grandchildren; Ashley (Chris) Prater, Thomas Tackett, Austin Shelton, 2 great- grandchildren; Brayden Prater and Hudson Prater and a step- granddaughter; Brooke Glazier . A Masonic Service will be in the Bailey Funeral Home at 7:00PM on Sunday. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM -10:00 PM on Sunday in the chapel
