MICHAEL CLARK BURNS - Monday - October 21, 1996

Orondo - Michael Clark Burns, 36, Orondo, formerly of Manson, left his family Thursday, Oct. 17, 1996, at Central Washington Hospital, following a brief illness.
He was born on Sept. 1, 1960, in Chelan, the son of Sidney G. and Josephine (Clark) Burns. "Mikie" attended schools in Manson and graduated from Manson High School in 1979. He then attended Eastern Washington University, where he received his bachelor's degree in history.
For several years he was employed in the fruit industry, first with George and Jim Wall and most recently as manager of Blue Jay Orchards in Orondo.
Mike was a member of the Washington State Horticultural Association and president of the Chelan Falls Rod & Gun Club. He pursued his interests with great zeal. He loved all sports, especially football, reading, music, sports cars and his pets. He cherished his family, friends and loved ones above everything. Those who knew him remember his quick wit, generosity and pride in his Scottish heritage.
Survivors include his parents of Manson; one brother, Sid Burns of Lucerne; three sisters, Linda Wilson of Chelan, Margaret Hoover of Edmonds and Barbara Burns of Everett. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Arrangements are by Precht Rose Chapel, Chelan.
MICHAEL CLARK BURNS - Services will be conducted Tuesday, October 22, at 2 p.m. from North Shore Bible Church with Donn Plew officiating. Private interment will follow at Fraternal Cemetery. Visitation will be for the family only. Memorials may be made to Lake Chelan Community Hospital - Emergency Medical Services. The family will greet friends at a reception at the Pat Kelly residence, 329 S. First St., Chelan, at 4 p.m. following the service. Services are under direction of Precht Rose Chapel, Chelan.
