Funeral services for Herman Schuppe, 65, of 468 Portage Street, will be held Wednesday at Faith Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may' be directed to Faith Lutheran Church.

Mr. Schuppe died Friday, March 22, 1985, at his. home. He was born February 12, 1902, in Fond du Lac, a son of Phillip and Mollie Dummler Schuppe. He was married to Regina "Jean" Gerdes on December 26, 1946, at Washington, D.C., and she died Nov. 20, 1979.

Mr. Schuppe was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. He was formerly employed by Giddings & Lewis for 32 years. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Army in the Southeast Pacific from 1942-45. He was a member of Giddings &Lewis Oldsters.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Gary (Alleen) Goldapske of Fond du Lac; two sons, Robert of New Baltimore, Mich., and Michael of Fond du Lac; five grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. William (Marie) Rendall of Racine, Mrs. Emma Krause, Mrs. Peter (Ann) Kaiser and Bertha Schuppe, all of Fond du Lac; and six brothers, Phillip and Alex, both of Racine, and Carl, August, Jacob and Walter, all of Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by one sister.
