Roger was born on July 6, 1943, in Sutton, WV, the son of the late Jarette and Nell J. Gerwig Doyle.
Roger married Shannon M. Hockensmith.
Surviving with his wife are two sons: Will and Ricky Doyle (Desiree) both of Michigan; a daughter: Jennifer Bowen (Rick) of Michigan; a step-daughter: Catherine Hockensmith of Philadelphia, PA; a brother: Eddie Doyle of Florida; two sisters Betty Pauley of Arizona and Bettina Doyle of Kentucky; two grandchildren: Eric & Skylar.
