He was the son of Charles Cole of Anderson and Vivian Rudd Rogers of Belton. He attended BHP and served in the U.S. Army for 13 years. He loved his family, country, and spending time with his animals and gardening.

Surviving other than wife of the home, son Alex Dalton of Greenville, a sister Amie Murphy of Belton, 2 nephews Joshua Fields and Kaleb Rutledge, God daughter Addie Reid Wilson, mother-in-law Betty (Boo) Lowe. His lifetime friends Dean and Stacy Puzon. He is preceded in death by brother Robbin Cole, a special grandmother Ruth Rudd Harnesberger and father-in law Clyde D Lowe.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 3 pm, with Rev. Mark Krieger officiating. Visitation prior to funeral services from 2 until 2:45pm at Cox Funeral Home.
