Karl A. Range, 73, a longtime resident of Keithsburg, died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 1932 at the Mercer County Home, Aledo, where he had lived the last year.
His death was the result of a paralytic stroke suffered Aug. 10.
Born in Rock Island on April 12, 1859 to German immigrants, he was a baker by trade. For several years, he operated a bakery in Keithsburg.
He was married to the former Lettie Lloyd of Keithsburg, who passed two years prior to him.
Their son, George O. Range, a member of G Company, Sixth Infantry of Jefferson Barracks, Missouri, survived.
