She married Willie James Jackson in 1949 and to this union seven children were born.
She is survived by five sons and two daughters, Jimmy Jackson, Tommy Jackson (Verna), Bobbie Jane Jackson, Earnest L Jackson (Connie), Norma J Jackson, Billy Ray Jackson (Ellen), and Willie Ray Jackson (Earnestine); two sisters, Cleo Johnson and Ella M Clark; an aunt, Velvet Henderson; twenty grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Altha Alston Miles: and her brother, Eugene Miles Jr.
