Mary was the daughter of Andrew Simon and Mary Miller.
She married on March 29, 1859, to David Yarian.

Yarian Mary, widow of David Yarian of Swan Twp, died June 17 of general senility. She was a daughter of Andrew and Mary Miller Simon and at her death had reached the age of 92 years, 7 months and 6 days, having been born November 18, 1830. On March 29, 1859, she was married to David Yarian. They had two daughters, Mrs. Flora Morlan of Ohio, and Mrs. Lorena Fulk of Churubusco. She was the last charter member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church west of Swan. Funeral services were held from the church Tuesday.

There are 2 stones in front of and next to David & Mary M. Yarian. According to the cemetery transcription they should be for Mary E. Yarian d/o D & M Aug 15, 1872 aged 10y 10m 22d and Alta Iona Yarian d/o D & M Sept 11, 1872 aged 9m
17d. However, both stones are unreadable.
