Darlene Ann Casey (Hobby) born July 9, 1945 to John & Margaret Hobby (Spurgeon) in Pueblo, Colorado.
Darlene passed away April 20-2022 in her home in Pueblo, Colorado. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 58 years, Don L. Casey; and siblings: Joan Haines, Bud Hobby, Richard Hobby, Larry Hobby, Shirley Wolf, Jack Hobby & Linda DeGrado.
Darlen leaves behind her sister, Margaret "Peggy" Hardin, 3 sons: Don Casey, Allen (Shiree) Casey, and Larry (Melanie) Casey, and a daughter; Christine (Lance) Creech, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Don and Darlene opened their home to family and friends and her sister, Peggy would like to recognize them for the love and care they gave to Darlene and Peggy's mom during her later years. Don and Darlene were deeply involved in the care of Darlene's sister, Linda and saw her through her battle with MS. Darlene's cousin, Maxine would also like Darlene's children to know that while she was pretty tight-lipped, she was proud of their children, their work ethic, talents and accomplishments.
The service was held Weds, April 27 at Holt Funeral Home in Canon City, Colorado. Family received friends and loved ones at the Wetmore Community Building after a private burial at the Rosetta Cemetery.
