Mrs. Edna Irene Sackett, 78, of 167 Lower Orchard Drive, Levittown, died Monday at her home after an illness of several months.
Formerly of Philadelphia, she have lived with her son, Winfield S. Hackett, or the past two years. She was a retired employe of the Navel Depot, Philadelphia, and was a past president of the Hewitt and Houser VFW Post Auxiliary No. 156, Philadelphia.
In addition to her son, Winfield, she is survived by another son, George Sackett, also of Levittown; two daughters, Mrs. Elaine Horner of Philadelphia and Mrs.Beverly Lawson of Birmingham, Ala.; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and two brothers, William Mutch of Franklinville, N.J., and G. Edward Mutch of Penns Grove, N.J.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Friday at 11 a.m. from Beck-O'Neill-Strouse, 7400 Newportville Road, Levittown Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery, Philadelphia. Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m.
