Shane Allen Sanders, 43, of Mulkeytown, passed away at 2:08 a.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2022 after a long and fearless battle with cancer.
Shane was born on August 23, 1978 to Paul L. and Cynthia J. Sanders. On January 26th, 2005 he married Kathleen Nicole Ehret. They shared 19 years together.
Shane was a good husband, father and friend. He was kind and friendly and would go out of his way to be helpful to anyone in need. He will be missed by all that knew him.
Shane was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Cleburne Baptist Church in Mulkeytown. He loved to work as a roofer and had worked in construction for most of his life, until his health began to fail.
In his younger years, his favorite pastime was riding four-wheelers and going fishing with his dad and grandpa.
He is survived by his wife, Nicole Sanders of Mulkeytown; three children Jaylinn Trinity, Jewel McKenzie and Jaden Lee Sanders all of Mulkeytown; parents, Paul L. and Cynthia J. Sanders of Mulkeytown; step-brother, Jayson S. Matthews of Mulkeytown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Don H. and Bertha J. Sanders; maternal grandparents, Kenneth G. and Hilda G. Summers.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 8th, 2022 at Vantrease-Pyle Funeral Home in Royalton with Pastor Denny Bush officiating. Interment will follow at Zeigler Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to SIH Cancer Institute. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home the day of the service.
