Gary Lynn Reynolds passed away on August 3, 2022, at the age of 73. He was born on October 9th, 1948, to Harvey and Nina Powell Reynolds in Sherman, Texas. He graduated high school in Cuyama Valley, CA in 1966, and joined the United States Army as an Indirect Fire Infantryman until he was Honorably discharged in 1969 with a Bronze Star for Bravery; an M-14 and a M-16 Marksmanship Badge; a National Defense Medal; a Vietnam Service Medal; a Combat Infantryman Badge; and a U.S. Army Commendation Medal ARCOM Badge for consistent acts of heroism and meritorious service.

He moved to Sherman, TX with his family in 1970 and worked several jobs some of which included a Quality Control Inspector at Texas Instruments, a swimming pool builder, a landscaper, and a General Contractor until his retirement in 2013.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents Harvey Reynolds and Nina Powell Reynolds, his sister Patricia Reynolds Presta, and his brother Larry Reynolds.

He is survived by his sister Sylvia Reynolds Martin, children Alisha Reynolds, Carie Reynolds Gann, Sara Reynolds Mulllins, and Jeremy Reynolds. He has 11 grandkids and 7 great-grandkids and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the West Hill Cemetery in Sherman.
